Have you taken a peek at Lauren’s shop Wearing History lately? If not, you really must! She’s been adding a dizzying array of vintage patterns and high quality reproductions of hard-to-find vintage sewing patterns (a good thing for those of us on a tight sewing budget!), as well as other vintage goodies worth taking a look at. These are just a few of my favorite at the moment from her shop, but be sure to see for yourself what treasures she has!

01. A 30s sportswear pattern (high waist slacks or shorts and shirt) that reminds me of Katherine Hepburn’s casual style. (A reproduction pattern.)
02. This amazingly adorable 1950s playsuit pattern would be perfect for catching some (hoped for!) summer sunshine while looking super stylish.
03. A darling 40s panties and bloomers pattern is part of the vintage pattern reproduction line, and is also one of the first multi-sized patterns available!

04. I’m always drawn towards this sort of flattering, comfortable house dress or robe styles from the 40s, and this pattern features two of my favorite elements: pockets and a sash!
05. I love this casual, 50s blouse pattern–especially the striped view! Of course, it’d look cute in just about any other fabric too.

‘Tis the season for some wardrobe updating! I don’t know about you, but about this time in December every year, I get the itch to add a “new” something or the other into the mix, just to liven things up a bit. What better way to do this with a bit of panache than with vintage? That is where one of my lovely sponsors comes to the rescue: Crafty Crow Vintage.
