I’ve always struggled with categorizing myself; try as I might, I tend to slip and slide between so many different interests and hobbies that I can’t say I’m a “crafter” or “seamstress” or even a “graphic designer” without feeling I somehow am not telling the full story!
Suffice to say, I’m a creative sort. I do a little of everything in my endless search for expression through the work of my hands. I sew, code web pages, knit, draw, decorate, thrift, design graphics, make collages, write. I love fashion (contemporary and past), art and design, sushi, photography, scuba diving, and music from jazz to hard rock. My interests are many, my time is in short supply, but I love to share them with my friends through this blog.
The past few years I have studied a variety of art-subjects at the college level, including fine art, interior design and my major: graphic design. It is my dream to one day own a little sewing business, something that I am currently working towards! Until then, I occasionally peddle vintage finds at my Etsy shop and do graphic work for creative individuals.
Please take a look around, make yourself at home, and jump right in! I always love hearing from visitors, so if you’d like to leave a comment or email me, don’t be shy.
