I’ve always struggled with categorizing myself; try as I might, I tend to slip and slide between so many different interests and hobbies that I can’t say I’m a “crafter” or “seamstress” or even a “graphic designer” without feeling I somehow am not telling the full story!
Suffice to say, I’m a creative sort. I do a little of everything in my endless search for expression through the work of my hands. I sew, code web pages, knit, draw, decorate, thrift, design graphics, make collages, write. I love fashion (contemporary and past), art and design, sushi, photography, scuba diving, and music from jazz to hard rock. My interests are many, my time is in short supply, but I love to share them with my friends through this blog.
Currently I’m enrolled in a local community college studying graphic design, although I’ve also studied some interior design and fine art. It is my dream to one day be able to have my own little design business, a dream that is starting to come true. I currently offer my services and specialize in working with small business, bloggers and individuals who are creative sorts. Check out my portfolio to see some of my more current work!
