What an exciting, crazy week we’ve had! SH took some much-needed leave the second half of this week, so there was a bit of sightseeing in Colonial Williamsburg (I hadn’t been in about 5 years, so it was fun to go back!), doing some things around the house we’ve not had time to do since we moved in, going to the movies, and a trip Saturday to go meet a new little addition to our family! I’m going to be a horrible tease and not share pictures with you until tomorrow–mostly because the only ones I have right now are crummy cell phone pictures, so I need to get some better ones today.

So a lot going on right now! But I suspect that is going to be the theme for 2012: lots of new, exciting changes in store. But since I’m a bit hesitant with change, I think this will be a good year of learning, stretching and adapting!

  • Mena of the Sew Weekly gave a virtual tour of her gorgeous vintage-infused, travel-themed living room.
  • Some fantastic tips on thrifting from Rebecca of A Daily Something.
  • Charlotte explores further the ethics of vintage fur which sparked some great discussion!
  • Johanna’s lovely vintage inspired, wintertime outfitshe wore to an antiques fair has me green with envy!
  • Spot-on tips from Gina for buying vintage handbags–a must read!

Hope you’re having a fantastic weekend!

Thanks for sharing these links. I especially enjoyed reading Charlotte’s vintage fur post and Gina’s post about handbags. (And what gorgeous living room Mena’s got!)
