After crunching the numbers and consulting the Random Number Generator, we have a winner…

Thank you so much again to everyone who entered! I love doing these and dare say they’ll probably be another later in the spring (perhaps a repeat of last year’s birthday giveaway?). If you’d like a cherry brooch still, but don’t have the supplies, keep you eyes peeled for them to show up in my Etsy shop soon…

I also wanted to let you all know that one of my readers contacted me that she had some vintage fruit pieces available super cheap right now. So for all you vintage-fruit-loving gals out there, you might want to check those out.

Thank you for the link! I love anything old and fruit adorned. I once went to a sale where the lady had bought out an old dept store and everything was deadstock 60s and 50s. I got there a wee bit late because my bf and I were trying to save some puppys from running onto the freeway. I still got lots of nice things but this reseller found this two piece 1950′s top and skirt set, the fabric was completely fruit and gorgeous.

I dont think I will ever find a piece of clothing as awesome :(

Wow, Congrats to the winners! I was just watching the movie State Fair with Jean Crain and saw her wear something just like this in the fair judging scene. Very cool!

I have been inspired with your pin curl photos. I have always wanted to have that 40′s look like Jean Crain. Excited to give it a try.

Thanks for your awesome blog!

Oh my goodness! Where have I been? I was eagerly awaiting your Etsy opening and I’m so glad to see that you have reopened your shop! It looks simply wonderful! I love the way you’ve featured the vintage patterns. You are quite marvelous!

Casey, I will definitely buy a cherry brooch – and one for a friend who would love one too – will you post to Australia? I’ll be keeping my eyes out for them – please do make them they are just the cutest!
