‘Tis the season for some wardrobe updating! I don’t know about you, but about this time in December every year, I get the itch to add a “new” something or the other into the mix, just to liven things up a bit. - 04. Wow! This suit from the 50s really packs a punch, doesn’t it? This would be perfect for parties or just days you need a bit of a color “pick me up”.
- 05. I have a preoccupation with sweetheart necklines lately, so this dress is fitting the bill! I really love that it’s not only in a lovely velvet, but in a very sweet 40s silhouette (so many velvet dresses from the era tend to be longer)!

That black velvet dress would be perfect for Christmas Eve party dress. It’s so lovely. I would have bought it on sight if it fit me. I never seem to have anything that I want to wear my pearls with. That dress would be perfect.
I love that sheer blouse. Imo, it would be fantastic with a long black A line skirt.

Love that coat, oh do I ever! I love that you highlight vintage apparel shops and finds. Its so nice to know that there are others that are trying to recycle/reuse old goodies with such great verve! You got it girl!

I found a stash of 1950s English Architectural magazines today & I’ve put some of the cute advertisements onto my blog. I think you’d like them so take a look if you have a minute.. Everything was so sweet an innocent back then. Sometimes I wish the world was still that way! -
