Here we are, at the end of another week, and it just so happens to be the last inspiration Friday post of 2009! Since Christmas falls squarely on Friday this year, I’m going to be skipping my weekly posting (even more so since the in laws will be showing up Christmas morning for gift exchanging). I thought about doing a “best of” roundup of previously featured links, but decided that it’s far more fun to introduce new links! hehe!

- Amelia shared some fantastic hair bow and ribbon inspiration.
- A lovely, vintage inspired dressmaking touch: a fagoted seam.
- How to select fabrics suitable for using with vintage sewing patterns.
- In time for some last minute gift-giving: how to make a sweet ruffled necklace.
- Gertie shares a possible 1940s precursor to the 50s “walkaway” dress!
Have a lovely weekend, all!

i love the flickr favs! that picture from mon cheri blog has been on of my favs all week too
That little pink house is so cute. I’m cleaning the house to get it ready for Santa.
Then I can start baking and marshmallow making. Happy Holidays Casey!
I love the nutcrackers, have a small collection myself
Maybe it’s because I am getting the urge to start garment sewing after all these years, but your links to sewing related posts really has been excited. I like that walkaway dress idea – very much. I am not familiar with it at all, probably because my sewing experience started in the 70′s, and I pretty much stuck with contemporary patterns. And the info about choosing fabrics – very good! I have bookmarked that, and intend to do some browsing as soon as your father stops finding me things to help him with around here!
