holiday recovery
[ mr. freckles: one of the few photos I took Christmas morning before my in-laws arrived! ]
I hope you all had a lovely holiday! Thank you so much for your holiday emails and comments! We’re in recovery mode around here right now; cleaning up the last vestiges of unwrapping gifts and after the massive amount of cooking done on Christmas day. We had such a lovely Christmas! As usual, I’m just a little sad that it’s over already; I’m planning on keeping my decorations up at least a little while longer to make the magic last!
[ mr. freckles investigating his first Christmas stocking... ]
I have a few posts scheduled to go live over the course of the week. My in-laws are going to be visiting for the rest of the week, so we have a bunch of plans lined up that take me away from internet access for long periods. hehe! (Not a bad thing, considering I’m glued to my computer most days!) So I think it’s safe to say I’ll “officially” return to the blogworld January 4. Until then I’ll be visiting with family, knitting in my free moments, reading some books gifted to me, and eating too much candy (Sailor Husband stuffed my stocking with chocolate this year! Sure knows a way to my heart… lol.). I hope you have a fantastic week and New Year, friends!

I had forgotten about Mr. Freckles! He is so very handsome…. I should post some pictures of our Abby-Dabs and Mr. Comfrey.
They get to really ‘meet’ for the first time next week, – that should be photo-worthy! -

Oh! I didn’t know you had a pet. How adorable? How old is he? Is he housebroken?
MowMow had his first Christmas as well. He was pretty happy with his fresh catnip buds and fuzzy mice (most of which are now stuck under the fridge). He even loved helping Daddy open his presens by dragging ribbon around the room.

Aw, looks like Mr Freckles had a lovely Christmas!
I think I actually prefer the calm after the storm, as I get older. I like putting away my new things, throwing away old things. I keep my decorations up for as long as possible, too

Hey Casey, Mr Freckles is absolutely adorable, he looks very happy with his Christmas gifts indeed. I have a house bunny too, Murphy, who loves playing with yarn and pretty fabric but not as much as he loves trying to steal chocolate! What a beautiful blog you have, thank you for sharing your lovely designs and creations xx Vicky

We have two bunnies, Pancakes & Shitake (like the mushroom). But they aren’t very tame. Our fault really they just roam the garden together
Sounds like you had a great Christmas which is wonderful to hear. Oh and becasue I forgot to mention before I love your dress from the Colette Pattern
