This pretty, 1940s day or morning dress pattern (a gift from the sweet Sophia!), is on my to-sew list for next spring. Although I know the weather is starting to cool down for many of my readers, and I have been obsessing over fall clothing, there is something just so fetching about this light and ruffly frock! Look closely and you’ll see a smocking/shirring detail at the hip–isn’t that so fun? I love these little details in vintage patterns…

What are your plans for this weekend? I’ve got a few (we have a packed schedule right now! hehe!), and hopefully will have some fun photos to share… Have a lovely weekend, my dear friends!
