Once I am setteld into my new home I want to learn to sew! For the moment I'n still building closet-doors, and painting walls and putting down floors... I'm so happy for you, it's so great to just let one's head be filled with plans and ideas, and then to actually do them. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the dress, when the pattern is released =) I'm also very curious about the Swing Dress, since I'm considering buying the patter. Thank you so much for letting me know about the possibility of buying it as a pdf! It opened up a lot of new possibilites. As for me, well, I also disappeared from blogland for a while. Mostly due to too little energy (the sun is slowly disappearing up here). But I did manage to sew my very first project using a vintage pattern! I made a wiggle skirt, and was quite amazed when the pattern just worked, without alterations. Now I'm hooked on vintage patterns! lol New projects are a skirt for a friend and a dress for me, to be worn at our Christmas lindy hop show the 5th December. It's all going to be so very Christmas-y red =) Wow, it sure sounds like you’ve hit a good creative vein!
