autumn giveaway winner

My goodness–is it really Monday already?! Forget that–I can’t believe we’re now in November! Time to start getting my head into the holiday mood (and planning…). I’ve actually got a bit of a jumpstart already with Christmas things: some of the gifts are already ordered! This is highly unusual for me to even have one gift purchased by the beginning of November. I’m notoriously bad about waiting until December. hehe!

Anyway, on to the topic you’re most interested in, right? lol. The winner of the Autumn Giveaway! Please give a round of congratulations to…

Thank you everyone who entered–it was so fun to read all your comments! I really love doing giveaways; I’m dreaming up some ideas for one around the New Year. One a season sounds like a good idea, doesn’t it?

Hope you all are having a splendid Monday! I’m off to catch up on my to-do list…

Hi Casey! I love your blog – it’s so cute!
I have a question: I have tottaly straight, medium lenght hair. They absolutely won’t to curl. Do you have any idea for vintage look on straight hair? I hope that you will help me ;)

That’s actually a great question. I get many compliments on my long straight hair but it’s not just straight. It’s ONLY straight. I’ve tried heated curlers, rag curls, braids at night, soft rollers. It won’t stay. I can spray and spray with hairspray but within an hour they’re limp and blah. What is a good vintage hair stlye? I’ve done the half up with twisting a little. is there anything else?

Thank you ever so much for taking time to share your comment! Although I try to answer questions, I am not always able to respond to each comment individually. But please know that I appreciate from the bottom of my heart every comment I receive!
