Oh my… I cannot begin to tell you my surprise and delight at the response to the little giveaway I’m hosting right now! I posted it Wednesday evening, and by Thursday morning when I powered my computer up and checked the comments, I nearly fell out of my chair at the number of entries. hehe! Thank you all so much for participating in this fun! If you haven’t checked out the giveaway yet, but sure to drop by the post and enter before Sunday night for a chance to win a vintage bag!

- For gals who like to do vintage hair sets, but don’t want to bother with pincurls, here’s a handy guide to roller options.
- Anna recently completed her first pair of knitted socks (congrats, Anna!), and offered a list of helpful links on sock knitting.
- I’ve always wondered how to use the ruffler attachment that is with my grandmother’s 50s Singer. Finally, I know how! (Just have to nab the box of attachments next time I’m at my parent’s!)
- I love this list of vintage style beauty secrets Amelia shared!
- Continuing with my obsession over vintage hats, here’s a whole post of 30s beauties…
Are you planning anything special for this weekend? Dressing up for Halloween? Despite my love of dressing up, we have no exciting holiday-related plans for this weekend, so no dressing up for this girl (other than my usual look!)… Have a fantastic weekend, friends!

Lovely inspiration photos. Fabulous list of links. I especially love the one to the 30s hats. Ah, those hats are to die for! And the link to doing curls without pincurls, which I’m terrible at, was wonderful too

Halloween inspiration! Love it! We are having an office party today for Halloween and I am going as a Lichtenstein Girl as seen on M.A.C’s Youtube channel. I know I have you as a contact on Flickr, Casey, so in the next couple of days I’ll have some photos if you want to sneek a peek. I’m getting lots of compliments already even though people aren’t sure who Roy Lichtenstein is.

Halloween! I can barely contain myself, even though I may have to take my sister trick or treating, and not be able to go with a friend who invited me cause the drive is too long. But it is still Halloween, and another chance to wear my costume.

THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH for the hair link. Also, the beauty link was to die for. I’ve always loved vintage beauty and I never knew how to do it… until now!
