Thank you all for the get well wishes! I spent most of Wednesday and Thursday drifting in and out of sleep, reading how to use my new camera (I tend to be one of those “just jump in and learn as you go!” people. Obviously, this doesn’t always work when using a more sophisticated piece of equipment.), drinking loads of orange juice, and watching more cooking shows than is probably good for a person. haha! I’m feeling a tad better today, but still not tip top (and a visit to the Dr.’s hasn’t cleared up exactly what I have… but resulted in some meds that should make me feel better.). Hopefully by Sunday I’ll be back to my bouncy self!

- I cannot wait to try this technique for making a no-marking-required, no tie-off dart on my next sewing project!
- I love these Lula-inspired headbands and fascinators that Lauren fashioned.
- Amy at Angry Chicken shows how to do a quick blouse alteration to make it fit a bit better.
- Jen reminded her blog readers of this fun paper clay mushroom tutorial she had posted awhile back. I want to make these for Christmas decorations–only sparkly!
- I stumbled upon this fantastic blog earlier this week, chock full of fun, inexpensive decorating ideas and tutorials. Be sure to check it out!

That yellow outfit is in my favorites, too.
I love this dart-sewing method! I will try it next time I have to sew a dart. Unfortunately it only works for straight darts, not for awkward curvy ones…we have to come up with a better method for these…
Love the bun! That blouse tutorial on Angry Chicken was good. That may come in handy.
Mom
OOOH, thanks for sharing that dart method! I will definitely be trying that as well. Now, go get some rest and feel better!
I hope you feel better soon, being sick is no fun at all!
That final link…
Well, so much for me getting any homework done!
