I don’t know how else to start, but to say a simple thank you from the bottom of my heart to each of you, my dear friends! I have received so many lovely emails and comments, especially of late. Your chatty and thoughtful emails, informative comments, and generosity have touched me deeply. I do not know what I have done to deserve such a beautiful and sweet group of friends–it truly humbles me to be so blessed! Even though I may never meet many of you, I feel that we are kindred spirits (as Anne Shirley would say). Thank you all so much for making my days brighter, my heart joyous, and sharing in my fascination with old things and creativity. It means so much to me!
Thank you for reading my blog too. Years ago when I started writing on Live Journal, I had no idea that my posting would go through this metamorphosis (and blogging venues–this is number four!) and I would find a niche online that I connected with so many lovely people. I hope this don’t sound fake or like I’m trying too hard–I really mean every word, and want you to all know how much I appreciate you!

Your posts always inspire me (your Alice post inspired me to get back in front of my sewing machine after too long of a break!) with your many creative adventures and your beautiful sense of aesthetic. Indeed, I think you must be a Kindred Spirit! (the Anne reference confirms that!)
Aww, I’m just happy that I’ve found someone that has even a few of the same interests I do! You really do exude that you are such a nice person through your writing and your videos. I’ve always loved the term “kindred spirits”! I love Anne of Green Gables and have always wanted to go to Prince Edward Island because of it!

Oh forgive my slow response, Casey. Your post is so sweet and full of honesty… You make me feel we’re all close by heart, even we never meet and live in such different places.
