Hello, my friends! My apologies that posts have been rather few and far between this week; with my sister here there have been other things occupying my time (silly conversations, baking cookies, watching A Hard Day’s Night, etc.). Next week shall be back to normal (and hopefully some exciting posts)!

- Cute stationary freebies for you to print and use.
- An overview of vintage fashion and style books available from Bramcost Publishers.
- Fleur posted a fabulous 40s hair tutorial!
- Vintage eye-candy from 1940s Charm magazines!
- Amanda has been posting a fantastic business q&a series on her blog.

What are your plans for this weekend? Sadly, my sister is leaving this weekend, and I daresay I’ll be a bit down about that. But we’ve also got some plans for the long Fourth of July weekend; visits to the beach, bbq’s and fireworks! (Hopefully no rain will ruin our plans; we’ve had torrential downpours and flooding all week!) Even though loud noises tend to startle me, I do love the Fourth for a good fireworks display! Sailor Husband is quite excited about his plans revolving around fireworks he’s buying, while I’m completely content to just have a package of sparklers! lol.
Have a splendid weekend (and a Happy Fourth to my US readers!)!

I think watching A Hard Day’s Night is a wonderful way to occupy your time! I know that film by heart.
I’m going to be doing a little bit of baking this weekend but that’s about it! It’s too cold to do anything much. Hope you have a lovely weekend!

wow, that flickr inspiration is lovely.. makes me want to wear a girly white dress. I’ve been on the lookout for a beautiful lacy white blouse, and this pushes that desire even further.

Gorgeous! And yay for a hair tutorial. Love that pattern cover too. I was supposed to be going to two parties tonight but looks like that’s out as my roof’s leaking and have to sort that… Dull. GOing to the opera and a comedy thing tomoro tho! And the sun’s shining, so all in all happy
A blogging break is fine, as long as you’re having a whale of a time! Xxxc -
