I adore old photographs; beyond the clothes and interest in how people wore the trends of the day, I find it equally compelling to study expressions and poses, wondering what sort of people they were. I completely agree – I love looking not only at the clothes wear in old photos, but how they’re worn, the people’s expressions, and the context of the clothes. So interesting!

Hi Casey, it may be just me but I was browsing old photos on Flickr the other day and I came across a lady that I think looks very similar to you! I’ve just done a post and it’s included in a collage if you’d like to take a look.
Great photos like that can make “smell” the past !
Glorious finds! I always wonder, who are these people? Do they still have family? Do they know these pictures are floating around somewhere or in a bin at a flea market?
I love old photographs too. They are little snippets of someone’s life frozen in time.
