50s style faux bang tutorial
A little something quick and fun for this beautiful (albeit a bit overcast here… hehe!) spring day! This sweet, 50s style ‘do is quickly becoming one of my favorite looks this season. The faux bang is actually far easier than it looks, and it’s also a great style for “next day” curled hair! I hope you enjoy this video–and I’d love to see your version if you try it!

Hi! you look so cool! i didn’t know faux bang was that easy to do. Or at least it looks easy when you’re doing it. But I wonder which product you’re using when shaping the faux bang? What kind of paste is it? Thank you for all the inspiring tips! Lisa

Great tutorial and you look so cute. The 40s and 50s really suite you! I was a kid in the 50s and my mom always cut my bangs so short. I never liked it! Then in college I was looking through some old year books and saw all the girls with their short short bangs! Then I realized why she cute them so short; it was the fashion. Now I like it.
Your blog is great and always up lifting. I stop by everyday. Thanks for doing such a great job.

That’s a great tutorial and a super cute hairstyle. I’m not sure, but I think that in most of the pictures I see of you, you’re wearing your hair pulled back. Just wanted to say that when your hair was down in this tutorial, you look great, too. It looks like you have beautiful thick and healthy hair.

Wow! I have no sound on my computer, but you are MUCH better at that than I am! I will have to practice. Thank you for the tutorial! Doesn’t seem so scary now. hehe.
Here’s me and my friend with rolled bangs. We used those long foam rollers with wire in the center and tucked the ends under our head scarves. Heck, it worked!

What a great video – you are very very natural on camera
I always read your blog but this is the first time I’ve heard your voice. It sounds just like how I imagined it! I don’t have enough hair to try out your hairdo but really admire how you were able to tame your hair and make it do what you want it to do! -
