Mr. Freckles & the newly embellished top

04.21.09 {bunny antics}

Gratuitous rabbit photos! lol. Sunday while Sailor Husband was tied up in homework, Mr. Freckles and I decided to do a little photo session. Alas, neither the camera, or Mr. Freckles, were quite up for the task, but still some cuteness occurred!

Also a little peek at a t-shirt I recently thrifted. It was boring, plain and beige (kinda like the walls in our apartment–that are slowly driving me mad!). Out came my stash of antique and vintage trims, where I found the perfect antique lace collar to pair with this. I also added a bow, which happens to be a piece of ribbon from my bridal bouquet!

Hope you all are having a splendid day!

    you have a pet rabbit???!!!??? I’m seriously considering getting one; I think the lop-eared ones are adorableness.

    The top is cute! I say that about all your stuff. Well, cute seems to fit. Anyway, I’m surprised that bun is not more of a camera hog. Maybe in time…or maybe he needs some interesting props and incentives!

    So cute! Love the bunny, the hair and the lovely tee! In regards to your tragically beige walls, have you considered either hanging fabric or using wall stickers like these I found on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5988949)? They won’t ruin your wall and will spice it up beautifully! I would hate for you to be driven mad!

    oh, where have I been!!?? You’ve been up to such magical mischief! The newly embellished top is so sweet! And Mr. Freckles!! meeep!

    I must also say, I think the first choice of button (that looks ever so like some type of sweet, cherries and cream candy) look the most ravishing on those adorable thrifted shoes!! You have a wonderful eye for little, pretty details to set things off perfectly!! :)

    Hope all is warm, well and lovely in FL!! :)

    That top is so adorable. I love it! How do you plan on washing it (the bow and collar looking rather delicate)?

    I would be very interested in hearing any tips for altering knit fabric things. I have a few knit tops I would love to pretty up a bit, but I’m terrified of messing with knit fabrics. I seem to always end up with the worst stretching, lettuce-y effect. :-/
