Hello dear friends! It feels so good to be back home after our long week of traveling. I can safely say that I’m good for multi-state car trips for at least the next six months. lol. I have so much to catch up on: emails, blog, Flickr, work, dreams and ideas–it’s quite overwhelming just thinking about it! But, before I get too ahead of myself, I wanted to say a big thank you for all your condolences and well-wishes for safe travel. We both really appreciate them. At the moment I don’t have the time to reply to each comment, but please know that they are appreciated!
Although the purpose of our trip was somber, meeting people who knew and were helped by my husband’s grandfather was nothing short of inspiring. I was lucky enough to meet him once before Sailor Husband and I were married, and was affectionately dubbed “Red Rose”. Both of us miss him, especially my husband who looked up to and was inspired by his dedication to helping others.
I’ve missed over a week of blogging (truth be told: we got back home late Tuesday, but I’ve been too tired and feeling under the weather), hopefully things will pick up soon again.
