Sighing a little today because no matter how many sit-ups, crunches or sessions on the Ab-Lounge I do, my waist will not be small enough to fit into any of these beauties! Though, this is why I am forever thankful that I can sew, so making something inspired by what I see, but can’t fit into, isn’t too much of a downer. hehe! (If you’re curious about learning to sew, I highly recommend Leah’s sewing series that she’s been writing!)*
Black and white dress: My Favorite Vintage
Red dot sundress: Couture Allure
30s novelty print frock: Dorthea’s Closet
* Note: Don’t worry, a wedding post is on it’s way! I am just having the darndest time trying to wrangle how I want to write about the event… there’s so much to tell!

Oh my. The red dot sundress is divine! And I could probably squeeze a single thigh into its teensy waistband.
Ooh – love the black & white one. Sadly, though, it’s out of my price range. Another great reason for sewing – lovely clothes on a shoestring budget!
Those are so cute… too bad my sewing skills leave much to be desired
This is great inspiration though!
Yay! So glad you’re back to blogging. Your posts always brighten my day. =)
And those dresses are adorable, especially the red one.
Oh, that red one has my heart! I’d wear a super strength girdle for that one, after all Yeats wrote,
‘To be born woman is to know–
Although they do not talk of it at school–
That we must labour to be beautiful.’
I think he’s right!
I guess you heard it already 100times, but it’s so gut to have you back! I just thought about you the other day and it was really funny that you instantly started blogging again … perhaps there IS something magic about my thoughts
.
Beautiful dresses, especially the middle one. But who has such a waist? Oh my
Have a wonderful blogging week!
Dears, Theresa
Thanks for the mention! I love this red dress too.
Great to have you back blogging again! Love that dress in the middle
That middle dress is absolute perfection! eeeee!
I love the middle dress, and the one on the right – “sigh” – I wish my waist was that small too!
WOW – these are amazing – I love the vintage feel!
