No, this isn’t about changing my mind on my wedding dress or something! lol. Rhiannon recently posted about a new feed reader that she had discovered called Bloglovin’. Now, I’m a long-time user of Bloglines to keep all my feeds neat and tidy, but lately they’ve been having a spate of slowness, and it annoys me not to be updated when the blogs I follow are!
I do love how colorful the Bloglovin’ layout is and all of the updated blogs are listed on one page! Definitely makes my life easier. The only downside, and this is purel a personal thing, is that it doesn’t ping blogs for updates as often as I’d like. Since I do so much work on the computer, I tend to leave my feed reader open in a tab in Firefox (hands down: my favorite browser!), and just check during my breaks. But it’s a small quibble… hehe! So if you’re wading through loads of bookmarks and having a hard time remembering to catch up with your favorite reads, get yourself over to Bloglovin’ (you can follow me here)!

Firefox is my favourite too! I’m a bloglines fan, but signed up for bloglovin’ earlier today to try it out. Bloglines has been a little slow lately and these little red ! keep appearing on some feeds I read, so I get no updates at all there. Very annoying!
I like the fact that Bloglovin’ has a little bit of focus on fashion blogs BUT (and I haven’t used it enough to say for definite) what if you wanted to add a different feed? Outside of that niche. That is my quarm with it.
Ha ha, I’m the same way about checking blog feeds. If anything it’s made me even more addicted to blogs and wasting lots and lots of time!

I’ll have to check that out. I use Bloglines as well and it hasn’t updated me on all my blogs (grrrr), which is so annoying. I’ve been thinking about changing to another one, but that all takes time. I read so many blogs! But I just might have to…

i could never get bloglines to work for me. instead i use netvibes. i have it set as my homepage and it includes other widgets of your choice like the weather, flickr (you and your contacts’ recent pics), to do lists and more. i’m addicted. it’s not as pretty as bloglovin’ though.
