:: fashion is spinach ::

One of my Flickr contacts, CraftWerks, clued me in that Elizabeth Hawes’s delightfully cheeky book Fashion is Spinach, is available digitally. Which means that I will no longer lament that it’s so hard to find! Hurrah!
Thank you all for your sweet comments about my orange-creamsicle dress yesterday! I have to admit it was hard not pulling it out of my closet again today to wear. lol!
I also wanted to remind everyone that most of my auctions will be ending tomorrow… so be sure to bid now if something tickles your fancy.
Have a lovely evening, my dears!

When you find a dress you love it’s hard not to wear it a few days in a row. I’m looking forward to checking out your auctions! Also, I just finished watching The Notebook for the 100th time and couldn’t help but think of you and your lovely 40’s style.

Oh! You just made my day. My week! I’ve been dying to get my hands on a copy of this book but the cheapest one I’ve found was $60. I’m flipping through the pages right now and can’t wait to read it cover to cover. Thanks!

How fun! I read Ms. Spinach’s blog of the same name, and knew she picked that moniker in honor of the book … never got around to tracking it down, and now, don’t have to. You are such a great resource-sharer, kitten.

The cover alone is enough to make one drool! I can’t wait till I have enough down time on the computer to delve into this!
