My apologies for not posting the vintage hair tutorial as promised on Friday! I have discovered I always overestimate how much time I’ll have on weekends when L. is visiting. lol. I’m almost done editing the film, and hope to have it up on Wednesday! Sorry if you were waiting for it… Bad, bad Casey!
I’m dashing out the door to go spend the week with my dear friend (who is so talented–it kills me!! lol) Jenny Rose. We always have loads of fun, and this trip is promising to be a great week of laughter, catching up, and relaxing. *sigh* I definitely need it. haha!
Here is a little snippet of Vintage Monday inspiration for you… Even though the weather is still bright and warm, I’m dreaming of coats and jackets to snuggle up in. Perhaps it’s the jaunty little faux-fur bolero that I bought on Ebay recently that is setting this mood (I’ll post pics later this week). I just love the stylish coats of the 1920s–aren’t these gorgeous?! The dresses aren’t too shabby either… lol!

Oh, that landscape fills me with nostalgia. Not that I ever rode, it’s just one of those evocative images that tugs at hearstrings. Enjoy your visit with your gal pal!

I have a picture of a weepingly beautiful coat from the 20s in my Thumbsplus folders. The 20s have always fascinated me and I love the clothes, but the coats are the most beautiful of them all to me.

I’ve always loved clothing styles from the 20s… those coats are amazing! This winter, I think I’m going to attempt a vintage style coat (a very ambitious project for a beginner like me! eep!) and this provided some lovely inspiration. Thanks!
