Thank you all for your lovely comments about my hair tutorial–and a big hello to all the people who stopped in over the weekend to check the post out! My jaw literally hit the floor; as of Monday evening I had over 5,000 hits to that post alone. Ah, the power of the internet. As my sister declared to me: “Your famous on the web!” Well, not quite, but these little things never cease to amuse me. hehe.
Did you all have splendid weekends? I hope so! My Beau came home after a month out at sea, and it was so nice to have him back. Monday was the beginning of the summer semester, and I’m taking two classes. One is thankfully only 6 weeks, and the other is self paced. So, if I’m a good girl and really apply myself (as in: don’t get distracted), I could be done by July. We shall see! The biggest downer is that it is such a long drive to get to the campus one of my classes is at; but I’m planning on sweetening the deal a bit by spying out the nearby thrift shops.

Speaking of thrift shops, the photo at the beginning of this post is some pretty, vintage Pyrex dishes Mom bought for me a couple weeks ago! I found an entire set in an antique shop, and was quite smitten with the white and turquoise scheme. I think these will be lovely alternatives to formal china, since I’m not terribly fond of having dishes that only are used a few times a year. Utilitarian dish ware suits me just fine!
I realized I didn’t post any Vintage Monday goodies last week! Oh dear… and this new semester schedule isn’t going to be particularly “blogging schedule” friendly. lol. But here are a couple new images that have been inspiring me the last few weeks and I hope you’ll enjoy too!
Have a lovely Tuesday my friends!

wonderful dishes! And that’s some quilt there in the back. I’m currently quilt obssessed and that one is now on the favourites list.
Woohoo! Super famous
Guess you’ll have to do more hair tutorials
